FAQ — Frequently Asked Questions
1. What kinds of diabetic or medical supplies do you buy?
- We accept unused, sealed, unexpired diabetic testing supplies (e.g. test strips, lancets) and certain medical devices.
- All items must be in perfect condition (no dents, stains, tears, damage to packaging).
- For test strips, we require that the expiration date be at least 9 months away from the time we receive them (unless otherwise approved).
- If you have a brand or item not listed among our accepted brands, send us a photo and details — we’ll confirm whether we can buy it.
2. How do I get a quote or find out how much you’ll pay?
- Contact us by phone, text, or email and provide:
- The brand name
- The quantity
- The condition (sealed / unopened)
- The expiration date
- Photos (if possible)
- We’ll review that info and send you a free quote.
- If you accept, we’ll give you shipping instructions or arrange for pickup (if local).
3. How should I package and ship my supplies?
- Use a sturdy box in excellent condition (no dents, water damage, tears).
- Use bubble wrap, padding, or cushioning to prevent damage during transit.
- Leave all original labels in place. If removing labels causes damage, we reserve the right to return the item or reject it.
- If you’re shipping, please include your name or order/quote ID to help match your package to your quote.
- Include a return shipping label in case we need to return any items (e.g., due to damage or expiration).
4. What if some items arrive damaged or expired?
- Any item that arrives damaged, compromised, or too close to expiration (unless pre-approved) may be considered ineligible for purchase.
- Such items might be returned to you if you included a return label, or otherwise treated as a donation if a return label isn’t provided.
- We’ll always inform you of any issues before finalizing payment.
5. How and when do I get paid?
- Once we receive and inspect your supplies, we’ll issue payment promptly.
- Payment methods we offer:
- Zelle
- PayPal
- Venmo
- Check
- Or any other method you prefer (just ask)
- If you live locally (Hemet, CA area), we may be able to arrange in-person pickup and pay you the same day.
6. How long until I receive payment?
- We aim to pay as soon as we confirm that all items meet requirements after inspection.
- In person pickups (local) may allow for same-day payment.
- For shipped packages, payment may take an extra day depending on inspection and payment method.
7. Do you serve customers outside of California or in international locations?
- Yes — we accept shipments from many places.
- However, international or cross-border shipments may involve extra costs, customs, or restrictions (applicable laws).
- If you’re outside of California or the U.S., contact us first to confirm whether we can handle your location.
8. Do you handle the shipping cost?
- For accepted quotes, we generally ask sellers to cover shipping to us, but we do accept returns under certain terms if items are rejected.
- If items are rejected or ineligible, we may return them if you provided a return shipping label or arrange returns (costs may apply).
9. Why must test strips be “9 months or more” before expiration?
- Many buyers or medical users require a minimum shelf life to ensure reliability.
- Strips too close to expiration are harder to sell and may not be accepted by resellers / medical facilities.
- This ensures that you and we maintain quality standards and don’t pay for unusable supplies.
10. What brands do you accept?
- We list Brands We Buy on our site.
- If your brand is not listed, don’t worry — send us images and details, and we’ll check whether we can buy your item.
11. What if I change my mind after shipping?
- Contact us immediately.
- Once items arrive and are inspected, you may or may not be able to cancel the deal depending on condition.
- If items are acceptable, we’ll process payment; if not, we may return them (with your return label) or treat them as a donation.
12. Is selling my unused diabetic supplies legal/safe?
- Yes, provided items are unused, sealed, and unexpired, this is common practice.
- We follow strict safety, hygiene, and regulatory practices in handling medical supplies.
- We do not accept items that violate legal or safety guidelines — you should only send permitted, safe, and sealed products.
